Refund Policy

Every new subscription starts with a free trial. Your card is authorised but not charged. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged, so there is nothing to refund.

Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for — your account page shows the date — and we do not refund part of a period that is already running.

If we charged you in error, or twice, or after you cancelled: in full, without argument.

If we close your account without cause: the unused part of what you paid.

If the law where you live gives you a right to a refund we have not listed, that right applies and overrides this page.

Consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, that right can be waived — and the waiver has to be explicit: you confirm at checkout that you want access straight away and that you accept losing the 14-day right by doing so.

To be configured. That confirmation is not yet part of our checkout, so until it is, treat the 14-day withdrawal right as available: ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it. This section will be rewritten when the checkout step exists.

Write to hello@gate86.com from the address on your account, and say what you would like refunded. We answer within five working days. Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe, and usually take a few days to appear.
