China's electric vehicle charging piles surpass 22.5 million as private installations surge
China's total EV charging infrastructure grew 45% year-on-year to exceed 22.5 million units as of May 31, according to the National Energy Administration. Private chargers, which account for 78% of the total, grew at nearly twice the rate of public chargers.
