Nvidia and AMD are adopting diamond-based cooling as AI chips push past thermal limits traditional materials cannot handle. Diamond conducts heat at 2,000–2,200 W/(m·K) — thirteen times better than silicon — and China controls 95% of global synthetic diamond production.
