Yadea pursues Africa expansion and domestic acquisition amid profit squeeze

China's largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer is pushing into African commercial motorcycle markets while acquiring a budget domestic brand for $152 million ($151.7 million). Yadea's H1 2026 profit fell approximately 27% year-on-year, from $245 million to $179 million.
